| Hypro Hollow Cone Tip 80 Degrees The Hollow Cone or HCX tips as they are sometimes called, are excellent for use with fungicide and insecticide applications They can be used with knapsack and handheld sprayers and are also used in band spraying equipment They produce a fine atomised spray droplet when used between 3 and 6 bar pressure The HCX nozzles will fit all standard sized hollow cone caps, including most knapsack sprayers To select the correct HCX Tip, (a) Referring to the chemical label, calculate the flow rate required using the following equation: Ltrs Per Nozzle = application rate (Ltrs Per Ha) X Speed (kmh) X band width (mtrs) divided by 600 (b) Use this calculated flow rate to select the appropriate HCX Tip from the chart Make sure that the spray quality matches the manufacturers recommendations. |
