Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

When placing your order you must supply a genuine e-mail address and a genuine telephone number in case of any query.

Agratech uses the Sagepay online Payment Gateway which means that Agratech does not have access to, or see any of your card details. Our website is fully PCI Compliant, inline with current safe payment legislation.

If you are shopping from any other country, please place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We also accept payment Via Paypal, simply choose the PayPal option and follow it through to Paypal payment page.

We accept most types of credit and debit cards. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will try to correct the mistake where possible.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for any reason. Shipping And Handling Shipping And Handling

All Items are dispatched at our earliest opportunity and orders received before 12 noon will be dispatched same day. Agratech only use Royal Mail First Class for postal items and UPS or APC Overnight.

Any orders placed after the stated time above on any shipment service will fall into the following days dispatch. We will on most occasions try and dispatch all items that are ordered up to the collection times, but on busier days the cut off time will most likely apply.


All items purchased from www.agratech.co.uk will usually be shipped according to the service selected. Some of our larger items may be shipped direct from our importers or suppliers. NB when items are shipped direct from our suppliers this saves on transport cost and fuel usage that does not have to passed on to you as the purchaser.

Where an item is out of stock or there is a stock shortfall to complete your order, you will be notified in either instance by e-mail. We may hold the whole order back until it can be fulfilled in one delivery or we may part ship it to you. In either case internet orders must be paid for in full at point of order.

Delivery Schedule Delivery Queries/Non Receipt of Items

In the unlikely event that your goods are not received and where you have not been notified of a delay, you must inform us within 7 working days.

If items are damaged in transit you must notify us upon receipt so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Where goods have been dispatched via Royal Mail, we will usually dispatch using the 0Royal Mail First Class Service, but some items may require a signature upon delivery.

Where we are given specific instructions to have items left in a particular place, in the event of an item going missing we will not be held responsible and will only provide proof of dispatch, and a copy your instructions to you and your card payment provider. It will be your responsibility to recover the goods or make a claim against the delivery company. No other correspondence will be entered into.

Some items that are listed on this website such as lances that are over 0.9 mtrs in length, can only be sent using a carrier service.

Where a delivery has not been made and the goods have been returned to us, due to not being able to contact the purchaser, or unable to find the address, a redelivery charge will apply.
There will be no refund in the instance where a purchaser has put an incorrect telephone number or incorrect e-mail address on their order, as to make themselves uncontactable.
If we cannot contact you in regards to your order, usually where an address is hard to find or the customer is uncontactable, the above will apply and no refund will be given. There will be no exceptions to this.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT at the current prevailing rate will be added to the prices as displayed on the website. Any customers from other member EU countries wishing to be supplied free of UK VAT, must e-mail to us your VAT registration number, this must belong to the purchaser of the goods, and the goods will only be dispatched to the named company or organisation as listed on the supplied VAT Registration Number.
Once you have placed your order, will be added, we will verify your VAT registration number, upon verification, we will remove the VAT from your order, and you will be supplied VAT free.
No goods will be supplied VAT free to any EU destination without this information. There will be no exceptions to this ruling.

Once your VAT number has been approved your company settings will be adjusted to allow instant VAT free purchases through this website. All your purchases from this website will have UK VAT included until your VAT number has been approved by EU Customs and Revenue.

Please note once a product has been used, you are no longer entitled to return the item for a refund. The most that will be offered is a repair. In such circumstances, the repair may be carried out by us, the product may be returned to the manufacturer, or a spare part may be sent out to replace the defective part. Our guarantee does not cover items such as blocked sprayers, filters, nozzles or items that have not been maintained in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and instructions.

The warranty and guarantee on all Silverline tools is provided by Silverline Tools and not www.agratech.co.uk. All Silverline items purchased from www.agratech.co.uk or any other website that forms part of the Agratech Group must be registered at www.silverlinetools.com within 30 days of purchase.

NB Most Silverline tools are designed for DOMESTIC DIY use only and are not ideally suited for use in a commercial environment. If a product is not registered with Silverline tools within the designated time, then no warranty or guarantee applies.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Returns & Shortages - If parts are to be returned to us, you must first obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) form our Mail Order Department.

We cannot accept any returns which are not accompanied with a Returns Authorisation Number.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.
PLEASE NOTE all shortages/damaged/or other discrepancies with your order must be reported within 24 hours of taking delivery of your order. Goods which prove unsuitable may be returned for a refund, credit note or exchange if they are returned to ourselves within 7 days of receipt. Subject to the following conditions:

Items are returned carriage paid
Items received are in a re-saleable condition and in their original undamaged packaging
Items should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund
Items are returned complete with all packaging in good condition. (We reserve the right to charge for replacement packaging when the original has been damaged or defaced.)
Items returned after 7 days from receipt may be subject to a restocking fee. (This does not affect you statutory rights)
